It is distilled twice in copper pot stills, and then aged for 18 months in a combination of 30% new charred oak barrels and 70% re-charred barrels, giving it a unique and distinctive flavor profile. The double cask process provides intense, yet balanced spice, sweetness, and dried fruit notes.
